University Sector Streamline Processing
According to this new system student visa applicant enrolled in any of the approved listed universities or their pathways provider Colleges or Institutions and intended to study Bachelor, Master or Doctoral degree programs through the listed universities will now be treated for visa assessment purpose under Assessment level 1. This change will not only increase the success of the applicant but also require applicant to meet less evidentiary requirements as compare to Assessment level 3 and Assessment level 4.
Assessment level 1 requirement as per Migration Regulations 1994.

Division 5 Requirements for assessment level 1
5A513 English language proficiency
The applicant must give evidence that he or she has a level of English language proficiency that satisfies his or her proposed education provider.
5A514 Financial capacity
The applicant must give a declaration stating that the applicant has access to funds that are sufficient to meet:
(a) the following expenses for the full period:
(i) course fees;
(ii) living costs;
(iii) school costs; and
(b) travel costs.
5A515 Other requirements
The applicant must give evidence that he or she has the educational qualifications required by the applicant’s proposed education provider.
